MasterCars provides 24-Hour Roadside Assistance countrywide through the Volkswagen Customer Care Centre should customers experience technical problems. The Volkswagen Customer Care Centre will facilitate all Customer requests and ensure that your call is directed to the appropriate supplier and our national Dealer Network. This service, called Volkswagen Alert, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. 

To ensure complete satisfaction, a customer has the right to request a vehicle exchange within seven days/1 000km after delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle condition must be the same as when the customer took delivery. In such cases, we will attempt to source a suitable replacement vehicle to meet customer needs.

All MasterCars are sold with at least 12 months of warranty coverage or maintenance plan coverage from date of delivery. In the case where the Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover the 12-month period, or has expired, 1 year or 2 year/unlimited km MasterCars EasyDrive Maintenance Plan options or a warranty through independent administrators are available. 

Offering complete peace of mind, MasterCars checks and verifies the following: previous ownership of every vehicle; police clearance regarding previous theft (and recovery) or involvement in criminal activities; no “code 3” legacy, i.e. has at any stage been reported as unfit for use (scrapped) and re-built and re-registered.

All MasterCars are verified as being less than 5 years old since reported as a new car and that the mileage is less than 120,000km and correct at time of sale.

Volkswagen requires that all MasterCars sales staff are Internationally Certified within 12-months of their appointment, at both Sales Executive and Sales Management levels. Training programs are fully endorsed by VW Germany and MasterCars guarantees a world class sales experience for all our customers.

Every MasterCar is subject to an 80-point mechanical check to ensure that your vehicle is checked inside and out. Our expertise on Volkswagen vehicles allows for a more detailed check on Volkswagen models when compared to other Brands, but rest assured, all MasterCars have been thoroughly inspected to ensure mechanical integrity.

MasterCars certifies that had any repairs for damage been carried out on your new MasterCar, all such work is only carried out by VWSA certified Motor Body Repairers. This ensures the condition of your vehicle’s body, paintwork and trim to ensure it meets the our benchmark standards.
